This players thoughts, which haven't changed since the last time this was aired:

Not seeding any tournaments demeans our game.

It is important, of course, that any seeding does not alter the chances of receiving a bye.

Seeding increases the chance of a weaker player playing a stronger one early on - and of a great scalp!

Though it increases the chance that a weaker player will be eliminated early doors, there is the upside that if the lower or unseeded player does turn the tables he will take up the higher seeded players place in the rest of the draw.

I totally agree that it is more interesting for the competition to see the strongest players clash in the latter stages, rather than maybe knock each other out early on.

To this player, seeding at least some tournaments would very much be a progressive thing for our game.
