I attended a tournament near Chicago run by Bill Davis in the early 1990s, in which he seeded eight players in a draw of approximately (or exactly) 64. Howard Markowitz was seeded but I was not. This did not bother me at all, until TD Bill Davis apologized to me and told me that he seeded Howard and not me for "political reasons."
