One step farther in the analysis of seeding also pisses off sponsors who add $, I've seen that in pool(which is seeded). When the people or person who does the seeding hooks up his friends and isn't being honorable. The sponsors don't add $ any next time when its clear that its not honest(the seeding). I know this from first hand experience and also watched it happen over the years.

Its a very strong testament against seeding for a player like Neil to say no to seeding, as he would benefit from it in theory.

in tennis and other sport yeah its probably good, but I cant see how it would be accurate in BG, seems it would open up more problems than it would solve. at the end of the day a tourney is just a redistribution of $ and people playing BG, so no matter what is done because no $ is created people will complain. and if there is added $ ppl will still complain.
