Use the Trice count, take black's pipcount, subtract 5, divide by 7, round up.

(62-5)/7 = 57/7 = 8

8 pips behind is the point of last take, so white is right on the verge of take pass. Clear cube, borderline take, at least before applying the adjustments to the pipcount.
