Just saw the film "World is Big and Salvation Lurks Around the Corner" taking place primarily in Bulgaria. Backgammon play commands an integral role in this movie.They role the dice to determine the King of Backgammon without Phil Simborg's Baffle Box-lol In fact, one character named "Chicago"(True)attempts to go there in America, but, never quite makes it.
Interesting film dealing with issues of freedom, family,culture,etc.
