Double Fours to Play

This reminds me of a very old position from the Danish forum where Lars Bønding and I liked to play 4 checkers down. I will see if I can find it. Here 4 down looks very playable and is my preference.

However, 2 points in the board cannot be far off either. I suspect that this is what most would play otb.
