In Response To: OLM 20141217A The Prime Factors -- CONSULTATION (Jason Lee)

Teammate Original Move Move in Consultation
Bob Koca 14/11, 7/6 1st choice: 14/11 7/6, 2nd: 14/10
Casper Van der Tak 14/11, 8/7 14/11 8/7, 2nd: 8/7 5/2
Chuck Bower 14/10 1st choice: 14/10, 2nd: 14/11 7/6
Daniel Murphy 8/7, 5/2
Fatboy
garyo 8/7, 5/2
Havard Raddum 14/11, 7/6
Igor 14/11, 7/6 1. I'm not sure what the best play with ace is.
2. I'd rather not waste pips inside yet and play three outside.
kruidenbuiltje 14/11, 8/7 1st choice: 14/11 8/7, 2nd: 8/7 5/2
lenny 1st choice: 14/11 8/7. 2nd: some version of slotting the deuce.
Seth 14/11, 7/6
Steve Mellen 14/11, 8/7 Abstain (thx for your honesty!)
Taper_Mike 14/11, 7/6 1st: 14/11 7/6, 2nd: 14/11, 8/7

Perhaps this is even closer than the last position. Although I am voting for making a crossover with ace, it won’t surprise me if making the bar point is better. That is my second choice.

The parallels with the game in our last match are frightening. Keene tried repeatedly to warn his mates about the gammon risk, and yet the best play in rollouts was often to take another step down that slippery slope.

I have selected two plays to represent the choices here. Combining 1st and 2nd choices gives the following tally:

14/11, 8/7 – Casper, Daniel, Gary, Kruidenbuiltje, Lenny, Steve
14/11, 7/6 – Bob, Chuck, Havard, Igor, Seth, Mike

Since we are still tied, it looks like you are going to have to blame this one on me.

Decision: 14/11, 7/6

Mike
