I agree. #2 is a next for me but #1 I'm less sure. The point of slotting the 1pt now at DMP is not to pick up the extra checker but to cut down on the risk of not being able to make the 1pt cleanly later. However, the outfield checker should give us enough timing that we don't need to risk picking up a second checker and letting the opponent anchor.
