In Response To: Followup to Stick's "Double Fours to Play" (Timothy Chow)

If we make the 5pt, then we'll find it difficult to utilize all those spares on the 6pt. By playing 13/9(4) we create a supply of builders to be used in conjunction with the 6pt spares to build inner board points, thus utilizing our checkers more efficiently. I'd guess 13/9(4) is still the play here.
