Forget the Quiz Factor

We have the leap the prime. 23/21 22/16.
Mochy once gave a lesson in which he emphasized the importance of assessing whether the opponent's position is more suited to attacking or priming. I have found this to be an extremely important principle that makes many otherwise difficult decisions simple. Here, White's priming threat is the key to the position. Everything else fades into relative insignificance.
Some people have said that the purpose of 23/21 is to anchor on the 21pt. If the dice dictate it, sure. But the more important purpose is to get to the edge of White's prime. If we get the chance to hop out, then most likely we'll hop out and forget about trying to anchor there. (Provided White's prime is still the dominant feature of the position at that time.)
