Not reminding your opponent to press the clock

I mostly agree, and think that each player should be responsible for his own time. If it is a player that the concept of the clock is new for him, I would help him even if it means reminding him to hit the clock every time. On the other hand, I see no reason to remind a known player that is familiar with the clock that he is low on time.

A little over a year ago and not long after I started playing in the open division, I played a well known and respected giant. At the time he was much better than me but I had the dice to balance the match. I was very low on time toward the end. At DMP I remember being 95%+ favorite with minimal contact but 2 seconds left on the clock. I rolled the dice once and one die was cocked and in the second time a die was almost cocked again but ended up laying flat. I remember the disappointing expression on my opponent's face as he was clinging to his best chance of wining. I see no problem with that, and it had no affect on the respect I have for him.
