Raking--it's petty

I was going to do this for no rake, just to make the game more interesting an fun, and then I saw a way to generate a tip for the tournament staff and I added 5 percent for me because it is a lot of time and trouble and I might have some losses if there is a mixup with the money or someone doesn't pay me or something goes wrong. I doubt that my 5 percent would have been more than $200 or $300....I lose that in the chouette in 15 minutes. Bitching about a 10 percent rake is just another way to attack me or be negative.

There is a saying that "If you don't want to do something, any excuse will do."

I remember one person objecting to the baffle box because he didn't believe it was healthy to have more plastic around. Another didn't like the extra weight to carry.

Anyone who thinks a 10 percent rake is too much doesn't have to bet, so it's a non-issue.
