I completely forgot that the percentage I calculated was not for losses being converted to wins. My usual "approximation" is to take such percentages and double them to reach a seat-of-the-pants guestimate for what they mean in terms of equity. The idea is that—at DMP—the equity scale runs from -1 to +1, while winning chances range from 0% to 100%. It is on this scale that you can double a percentage to get an equity.

In practice, I often use that approximation in all sorts of positions that are not DMP. But it obviously won't work for gammon losses that are converted to single losses.
