Risk the hit or switch the point?

We are behind in the race so I risk 13/8. If we get hit, a quick 5 saves us. If we are missed we get a good cube after 62,63,64,65 from White. I prefer this to hacking up my board and now when missed there's timing to continue to hold the board and not further mess it up with more small rolls.
