I do not know how much the younger and newer players care about the history of backgammon, but I remember playing BG in at least one of my previous incarnations (some of which were on other planets), and the info provided by Rick is fascinating to me.

Rick writes: "I carried out the study of pre-bot backgammon that Paul mentions, and reported the results on bgonline."

Could you please find and give us the link, or if it is easier, then post the same info again. Thanks.
