Probably about the same level of difficulty as Snowie (screenscaping and faux mouse moves and keystrokes). The other possibilities are to write bots to take advantage of Dueller and BGBlitz's API (DBSI); use a server with an open protocol (ie. FIBS) to get bot playing against bot. Based on the link below in 2012 and some private correspondence that it spawned (which included Xavier) - bot vs bot play is a pretty low priority for most.
