First of all, there are no poker software around, which have the potency of cheaply available highly developed backgammon software.
The reason why the guys I named, don't speak up their mind is not known to me and I did't imply they are against headphones. I said they don't use it. I'd like them to take a stand. I am not offended if the other player uses headphones and I endorse the idea with the Y-connector. My point was we need some sort of control.
Robertie is not just someone as you might know. Listen to the interview again, when he talks about why he left the controversy about the Dwek vs Genud final match in Monte Carlo 81(starting around 13:50), out of his book. So maybe, it is also in the best interest of the best of the best including a certain Stick Rice, to keep out anything, which would possibly (and not necessarily) shed a bad light on the game.
I enjoy music more than you might think but I'm afraid we might not have the same taste. Enjoy but please keep the noise level down, neighbours are sleeping.
