What a joy to have the XG gods vindicate your style of play. It seems to me that when it comes to bearing in there are certainly two styles of play. XG uses a smoothing sophisticated approach whereas there is a smash and grab brute force approach. Just get em in ,not without a level of sophistication of course. Simple ROT is all that is required for both bearing in an bearing of cos its the same thing init ? A deep analysis of the above play places brute force at 4th and 6th with an equity loss of 0.004 and 0.006 respectively. Not too tardy in my book and certainly not a PR wrecker. In the space of a few moments a beginner can play like an expert. As I have posted in the past I have played at least 100 matches on challenging bots and lost once. It is of course amusing to have the bot give one a beginner level of play when it was a draw lol. Maybe I will do some deep analysis on the results next time. The brute force system can be easily accommodated by the human mind. I suspect the bot approach is superior but the end product seldom varies. The 7/4 play is of course a brute force play. Im struggling why some expect to get top analysis from a 3 ply analysis. I thing XG lists a maximum of 32 plays, I wonder how many there were available in this position.
