By using XG as a teacher often there is light at the end of the tunnel. Blues 4 point prime is the ace in the hole to be protected at all cost. The hit 6/4 virtually forces white to hit on entry and the blue chequer is recirculated. This gives blues timing a big lift and the opportunity to make an advanced anchor .
It does not pay to get too excited but I can imagine whites board crunching before blues prime is penetrated. Blue will have the flexibility and timing to reach a game winning position. Theres obviously plenty of what ifs but I guess the solution to the problem is to recognise that timing is the problem. No QED here.
