Yes I didn't explain this very well.

What I meant to say was that for any likely opponent you would not normally expect the differential PR to more than 0.3. Of course, in matches where the cube the cube gets to 4 or higher particularly in gammonish situations, the differential could become significantly higher, but these situations do not occur frequently.

It should be noted that tournaments which employ class divisions, as is the case in the USA, have the obvious effect of reducing the likelihood of major skill differential between players.
