Phil, Below is what I said about Dual Duel event last year. A little too wordy but still reflects my opinion in principal. I would add to that I don't like the direction backgammon takes in general when it's more computers in the room than actual players. Not sure I like that comp domination, takes a little fun away from the game IMHO. PR only based torunaments, ratings etc, just a little too much. Matches should be analyzed and results of analysis should be posted (I personally like to be recorded and analyzed). But it's only supplemental information. The game should still be fun. And the only objective should be to win the game.
