Running in position 1 is far more dangerous simply because white's structure diversifies his attacking rolls making them far more potent. Take a look at the swings for example on 21 and 33

For rolls that play the same in each variation after blue runs white's position is also more powerful with the blot on the three rather than two.

So in position 1 go for a priming play 13/8 13/7, position 2 run 20/9.

OTB it's easy to say I'm 26 and 25 pips up so just run. Training yourself to run through responses is a good exercise.
