I don't know what the average number of rolls per game is, but assuming you get 15 3-roll sequences per game on average (so 17 moves not counting the opening roll), the chances you'll roll a particular double 3 times in a row in 2000 games is 47,4%.

I think that's actually more often than many people would think.

I could also list all 2 roll sequences where it's correct to hit to estimate a rough % of games where you are hit against a 1 point board and incorporate it into the calculation, but it would be too much manual work and I'm not really that interested :)
