As I'm a BG genius I will ignore 24/21* 8/3* although in a social game I might play it just for the hell of it. That leaves 8/3* 6/3 and 24/21* 21/16 as reasonable candidates. Making a home point is seldom a bad idea but this one is out of order and leaves the board looking a little shabby with two blots. 24/21* 21/16 gives a very solid looking structure . The silver lining of course is the great pip count this play achieves as opposed to 8/3* 6/3. It may be that white will be coming in against two anchors but this eventuality may not arise as white has good timing.
