CB: The standard coaching answer is "we didn't want to give the opponent an easy chance to compose themselves or modify their lineup." How much that is worth I don't know.

I would probably parallel this with "why did you make your 5pt with that roll". Its just obvious that its the best play to make - likewise its equally obvious in NFL terms to not give your opponents time to change their lineup. Just speculation.
