Simborg Bower Horton--Patrick's are better

Of course I can send you the original text, but even though we worked over a year on this project, it has since been improved greatly by Patrick Gibson when he adopted them for his tournaments, and now Patrick heads the Rules Committee for the USBGF and I understand they are making some additional changes and improvements.
The revised rules are clearly the rules we wrote but we missed a few nuances and there were a couple of places where our wording could have been better, and I believe Patrick and his helpers have done an excellent job.
The long-term goal is to eventually have a single set of rules for the game that is accepted universally, and that won't happen until there is an International Federation, but the game is headed in that direction and I am confident we will see that in the next few years.
In the meantime, I am happy to say that with very few exceptions, you can now play this game just about anywhere in the world and the rules will pretty much be the same, and the interpretations that we provided by going into more detail and examples as to the application of the rules has been pretty much adopted and incorporated into rules in virtually every country where tournaments are regularly held.
I don't know why you specifically asked for our version, but I would recommend you get Patrick's updated version for a more recent, and improved set of rules.
I hope the USBGF will formally adopt his rules in the near future if it hasn't already.
