You're not the only one with this problem when looking at BG diagrams.

When playing, you'd never forget an important score like GS, but when looking at a diagram here you need to take a 2nd look at the score to make sure you see what is happening prior to deciding your play.

That being said, I am unsure whether paying now isn't right at DMP. White can still make all sorts of "big" plays at DMP vs two blots in Blue's board and needing to hit.
