Blue still has a chance to win going forward, and that's usually the better option than committing to a backgame. Especially with only about 25 pips of timing.

I'll point on his head with 8/3* 6/3.

The options appear to be making the bar point, offering up blots in the hopes of improving timing, or buttoning up with 18/13 9/6. None of these look better than simply making a homeboard point with tempo.
