So lets say that there's no LC

1) Rakes, registration fees, or the combo of both should be reduced a bit since players are out after two losses and aren't getting as much play for their main event entry fee. Note that I said a bit.

2) Now there can be more side events starting specifically on Sunday and progressive entry side events can even start Saturday for those with two losses in their mains. Of course these are raked somewhat as well, but bcuz there's more players free to play them, more players enter and the director makes up and may more than make up any differences from lowering the initial rake a bit.

Most weekend only tourneys except for the smaller ones, really don't have time for an LC and the typical plethora of side events.

More and more I think that MCG is right here. Just abolish LC and be done with it. The small amount that one has to win 5 or 6 five pt matches isn't worth it.

And with the LC gone, why not start the After Tournament Tournament Sunday once the blitz is closed and for those who aren't alive in anything else? Doubles can also be extensive on Sundays like done in LA.
