Annual Abolish the last chance post (please, think of the children)

I may be wrong, but I believe the number of ABT points a tournament can award is based on the number of entrants. If you eliminate the points awarded to last chance, then the entrants have fewer ways to win points so that, when they do win something where they get points, they should get more points as a result. Also, in that way, all of the points that were allocated for that tournament end up being awarded. There is no reason to "short-change" that event.

I believe the effect is the same at Charlotte and other tournaments that have different formats and no last chance. To be fair, all of the points a tournament is entitled to give out should be awarded.
