I'm quite surprised that we went for the anchor last time. Usually the priorities in a blitz are hit, point, build, escape in that order. Making an advanced anchor seems to qualify as the fourth category.

I went for point last time since I didn't like any of the hitting plays. Now we have a homeboard blot to shoot at if we get put on the roof so we can be a bit more loose. 10/8* looks like a real contender. Is it better than making the four point or shifting points and bringing an 11th checker into the zone?

Not sure. I'll stick with making the four point.
