When in doubt, make the five point.

here, white has a 31 backgame structure but not quite enough timing for it. Handing her another 15 pips of timing by hitting on the fifteen seems anti-thematic.

The ten point does nothing for us, and neither does 11/7. 18/14 without hitting might be a reasonable play, but I'll make the five and dare white to hit me on the eight.
