Is the focus a little soft?

Thanks for the streams, Jason. I am enjoying them.

FYI: On stream 1, with the overhead camera, the focus seems a little soft. It has in all the matches I watched today and yesterday.

In the past, I have seen this happen because the autofocus locks onto a player's hand above the board. I am not sure that is happening today. If it is, then selecting manual focus (if available) might be a way to combat it.

If the focus is set correctly, then this sort of issue could be related to an aperture that is opened to wide. With most web cams, however, I doubt you have much control of f-stops. If you do, and there is enough available light, you could try stopping-down to a smaller aperture (i.e., a larger f-stop number).
