BS stands for Backgammon Save.

It is a strategy to employ when you're leading 1-away, 3-away at Crawford.

It's when you scratch, claw, and fight like the devil to avoid getting backgammoned at this score, because if you do you will lose the match.

I've found it to be a very successful strategy as I have never yet been bg'd at this score.

Okay, folks....joke's over...Jason and I were fabricating a feud, World Wrestling Federation-style, in order to drum up interest in the next Capital Classic. But since we are waiting for an opinion from the Fairfax County SWAT Team as to the appropriateness of such an event, and it appears that the forum audience is not yet ready for this sophisticated brand of humor, we are ceasing the joke effective immediately.

How ironic that on the first day that marijuana is legal in the District of Columbia, a fellow with the surname of Marin would be the first one to kill our buzz. :-)
