I "suspected" it might be too good, but over the board I don't take a long time to figure these out. What is more important is that I knew it was a pass but I had an opponent I thought might well take.

Now, if I was pretty sure my opponent would pass, then I stop to figure out if I'm too good.

So the honest answer to your question is I wasn't sure it was too good but I wouldn't be surprised if I found out it was. And if I doubled and they dropped, that still doesn't mean I did the wrong thing in a money game where I might get a take. It just means it didn't work out that time.
