Effects of strength differences on cube decisions

This is a completely shameless bump because I can't believe how far down my post is after two days.
Original (g11, 2ply) rollouts are here: http://www.bgonline.org/forums/webbbs_config.pl?noframes;read=17395
JT100 rollouts are here: http://www.bgonline.org/forums/webbbs_config.pl?noframes;read=17509
The JT100 rollouts overturn the g11 results, even on 2-ply vs. 0-ply, which is somewhat surprising. 2-ply vs. 0-ply with 0.015 noise puts them mostly back to the original results, except for the take in 2), which is even more surprising. If the take is actually correct, then surely I figure I'm suppsoed to cash the first position.
Note that these are not 500-point tables where Neil is playing some random intermediate. This is just a 100-point ELO difference, which crops up fairly often even within sections. I've often thought that ELO effects are overrated, but this gives me some hesitation. So share your thoughts on the ELO effects on cubes: overrated or underappreciated?
