In general there aren't set rules vs different anchors. Positions need to be considered on their own.

What we want to avoid vs the 2 anchor is this situation.

Note that in the OP position we already have two checkers behind the anchor on our ace pt reducing our flexibility and increasing the chances of arriving at this disaster posted here.

When we retain the 7 pt vs the 2 anchor late in the bearin we are forced to play 5's 6/1 and 6's 7/1 and that can lead to all sort of problems.
