After having made the 14-point, we have a good opportunity of escaping from the Prime Factor's home with our backchecker. If they will hit our blot on the 16-point, we will probably have the chance of a rehit unless they cover the blot in their home.
The alternative play 14/10 14/11 disregards the aspect of connectivity, and will increase the Prime Factor's attacking chances on both our straggler and the blots on the 10- and 11-point. Clearing the 14-point and playing both checkers down appears to be too loose in this position.

Therefore, I'd like to play 23/16
