It may be 'problem solved', though I suspect, next time, I might find there are other problems as a result of them no longer agreeing to use a baffle box. If (like 30% of players) they weren't using it - believe me - I am much less tolerant of opponents irregularities.

My point is that many players will say nothing. I think this is because they fear a negative reaction, or don't want to be seen as 'nitpickers' or whatever. The same with their opponent not shaking the dice, and other infractions.

You often hear TD's say how all the players were very sporting or whatever. This is usually because opponents have said nothing about the irregularities that routinely occur in tournaments. Pointing them out and going to the TD about them can, rightly or wrongly, be seen to reflect badly on the player that brings them. It's an irony of tournament play that generally encourages me to stay at home.
