Procedural question: if I used pencil and paper between my initial vote and my consultation vote, should I recuse myself?

I don't think pencil and paper is so egregious. The goal here is to learn something -- if you think you can do that with some scribbles, I think it's OK, but I certainly defer to what everybody else thinks.
