To be a LM, can you accumulate enough points in bridge solely by entering tournaments?

If so, and if BG uses that system, someone could be a "Life Master" who has never won a game in a tournament. Even if bridge LM is a combination of attendance and performance, then the no-win problem still applies to some extent.

That said, recognition for attending tournaments would be a big draw for many players. Maybe there's a better term than "Life Master". Even something like "Level 2", "Level 4", "Level 8", "Level 16", to pick numbers at random.
