OK, anticlimax, disaster...next. I passed after counting 28-30 numbers forming 5 or broken 5 prime. I disregarded my counter play for the 5 pt. opponent's anchor. Always remember Phil Simborg's definition of a backgammon player: a masochist! Give it to me! But.. the reference positions Igor shows in his last post are different: winning percentages VERY different..So- a 3 pt. holding game is not ANY 3 pt. holding game. TYVM Igor, I'll have to dig it out starting from the ref. positions in your last post.
