2015 Ohio State Backgammon Championships

I want to personally invite you all to our "people friendly" ABT tournament next week in Cleveland at the Marriott Airport. Our mission is to prove that we can enjoy tough competition but in a fun and friendly atmosphere, and I think if you talk to anyone who has been to any of our tournaments the past 21 years, they will tell you we have succeeded.
We kick things off with a pre-tournament on Thursday night, March 26th. Friday have blitzes, Masters, Amateur Jackpot, and Doubles. Saturday starts with a lecture and prizes sponsored by the USBGF by Phil Simborg and a Peoria-style Calcutta. There is a 2 hour dinner break Saturday night to allow people to dine at any of the many very fine and interesting restaurants around Cleveland.
Our entry fees are low: $300 Masters, $250 open, $150 advanced, $40 Novice. The hotel is only $93 a night, and there is free shuttle from the airport. And to make it even more financially appealing, there is added money in all main events from the USBGF.
