As with "Part 1," start with the race, adjust White's chances down for being on the bar, and up for contact.
Compared to "Part 1" White is better here in all respects.
This position is a comfortable race take according to pip count (Keith count = redouble/take). The other position was a race pass.
Contact is more favorable to White here. With a full prime White can claim with the cube or even play on for gammon, possibly picking up a second checker. White never loses after a hit (unless Blue takes five checkers off first). White should win more games, win a few more gammons, and lose a few fewer gammons.
Take.
Volatile? Yes. If White fans on his first roll, there goes the take.
Double.
