Tuvya will be entering everything into XG. We will not focus on the XG during the match because we both want to concentrate on strategies that we think are most fitting to win in this unusual situation.

I can't say what Mochy's strategy will be exactly, and I am not about to say how I might change my game strategy, but I can assure you that my PR will be far higher than 3 above Mochy's, which would be the case even if I were betting on PR.

For one thing, he can't make any initial cube errors so my potential for cube errors is tremendously higher than his. Also, I am not accustomed to holding the cube in the early game, and I am learning that many early game plays are very different if the cube is turned and Jacoby doesn't apply. This is a great departure from the way I have been playing for money the past 50 years!

Since it will be streamed and recorded, and transcribed, I am obviously not afraid to let the world see me play at high PR's, and I have no doubt Mochy will play at very low PR's, but we'll see if the obvious skill-difference between us is enough to overcome what I believe to be a significant advantage in holding the cube.

One thing for certain will be true: after only 30 games we won't have a definitive result, even if one of us wins a lot. Everyone here knows that it takes very long trails before we can attempt to draw meaningful conclusions, so even if I slaughter Mochy I will not claim that I was right about the cube advantage. But I will walk away a very happy camper.

And if he beats me, I have a good excuse--how can I possibly play well knowing Carter is doing the commentary? (This might be his chance to get even for the dozens of "I Beat Carter" caps that I have given to people all over the globe--just ordered a bunch more.)
