Well, it's a bit late to read Trice first since you've already read Magriel.

But since you've already read Magriel, I'd say go ahead and read Trice without re-reading Magriel. BTW, everything is trice was checked by a bot (jellyfish or snowie - don't remember which) so the errors are few if any. perhaps XG would reverse some results but I'm not aware of any.

I haven't read Bagai's book, but I'd recommend Tim Chow's companion to Robertie's 501: http://math.mit.edu/~tchow/robertie/robertie501.html I went through my copy of the book and marked all the answers that were wrong.
