Just another random backgammon position

The race is close. Something easier to miss OtB in such a position than online looking at a problem. Generally if your opponent has 4 men back and you only have 2.5 men back you should be clearly up in the race. We aren't. This is a big argument for hitting. We will not be improving his timing at all.
On top of this we're on an anchor I'm not too happy about. It's the best anchor we can have but we can release one of our men from behind the four prime while hitting leaving our loan back checker under very little pressure. If we play some silly non hitting play when are we going to have a better opportunity to run? We won't. The opponent will play his checkers off our 2pt and toss them into the outfield. He'll have some sort of spare distribution with his 3 spares offensively and it will always be hard to get off the anchor. The best time to get off a bad anchor is when the opponent is on the bar, do it!
I can't really see anything here but 22/16* combined with some deuce. Which deuce is best? 13/11 is way too loose. For me it's between 17/15 and 16/14. I'd go with 16/14 staying off double fives and probably diversifying our big/small numbers a little bit better.
