One commentator made the point the other day that players are much more accustomed to the scenario in the NBA, because you play 82 regular season games that have 4 quarters, meaning it comes up a ton. In college it is a rarer situation.

I don't understand this. College coaches aren't allowed to learn from what happens in the NBA? It's the coaches' jobs to have the players prepared (from practices) for situations that may arise.
