JOH made the same play, and I don't like it because of the many double hits that it leaves. After the roll, the race is dead even, so we should not be leaving to many hittable blots on our side of the board. I'd go with 13/9(2) for starters, and then 2 more 4s. Something could be set for picking up the remaining blot (8/4 24/20 or 8/4 22/18), and a different approach would be to make the 2. I can see myself making either of these three moves OTB. So still drowning, but a bit more slowly.
