I like 5/1 8/3*. I count 14 shots for white, and one double hit joker. Iif white isn't able to hit , 36 and 54i are his only chance to escape the onslaught of numbers that put him back on the bar next roll. Plus, in addition to the 9 numbers in which he can't come in, 24, 34, 26, 46 all force him to leave additional shots next roll.

The safe alternative I see is 6/1 5/1, which limits blue to being a dog in a racing game or having a weak board for a hitting or holding game. This puts our taill between our legs for the rest of the game.
